Kindred Kids partners with Creekside (the children's ministry program of First Free Church) to offer childcare during our Friday morning Kindred Sunrise meeting and fun family events throughout the year!
FUN
Kindred is a place where both moms and kids can build deep and lasting relationships. In addition to the Friday morning gatherings, we hold a variety of fun family activities and playdates throughout the summer and school year!
SAFE
Your child's safety and wellbeing is extremely important to us. Each volunteer has successfully completed a background check, formal sexual abuse prevention and safety training, and a solid vetting process.
KIND
Ask any Kindred mom, and they will tell you about the profound kindness and competence shown by the Kindred Kids staff and volunteers. Several mothers who have been in our group for years say that this was the first place where they felt safe leaving their young children!
Our Well-Child policy
In order to provide a healthy environment for all of our children, we ask that children be kept at home with any of the following symptoms and/or illnesses:

Active Chicken Pox

Runny Nose (unless due to non-contagious allergies)

Measles

Questionable Rashes

Mumps
-
Coughing
-
Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)

Diarrhea

Hand/Foot/Mouth Disease

Impetigo

Sore Throat

Vomiting

Covid-19
Fever: Kids should be fever-free for 24 hours before coming to Kindred Kids.
Infections: If a child is being treated with antibiotics, they should be on the medication for at least 24 hours before coming to Kindred Kids.

What is Creekside?
Kindred Kids is powered by Creekside Kids, the Children's Ministry program of First Free Church. A normal Friday morning may include playtime, gym time, snack time, and and a story time with basic Christian themes or a story from the Bible. While Kindred is open to families of all faiths or no faith, the Creekside/Kindred Kids program includes basic Christian activities and rhythms such as prayer before snack time, a simple Bible story, and teaching about love, kindness, and respect.
